INTERIOR WORK

Exterior work is finished. The solar collectors are mounted, the heat exchanger and pump station are installed.

Windows and doors in the old facade have to be taken out and bricks have to be laid in their place. But the strong winter (- 8 degrees Celsius) doesn't allow doing it.

Instead we concentrated our effort on laying ceilings and floors. We try not to use too much physical energy on it. We start downstairs in the cellar with the ceiling, then we lay the insulation layer down on it from the ground floor, then the floor itself. After that we mount the ceiling of the ground floor. At the end we lay the insulation layer down on it from the first floor, then the floor itself.

The cellar ceiling is made of Troldtekt acoustic panels

The kitchen floor is insulated with 2 layers of rockwool

The kitchen floor consists of plates of plywood which are covered with tiles

A speciel ceiling is made for the ground floor

Here is a snapshot of the ventilation in the ground floor

The special ceiling is looking like an open mushroom from beneath

It was quite a work to finish this side of the house, where the old part is meeting the new one.

These pictures are the most significative snapshots taken during this step of construction
